Development Policy of the library.
CSL has a collection of about 5,50,000 volumes. This includes the collection of i.e Regional Language Library, Tulsi Sadan, at Bhawalpur House; and RK Puram branch library. Tulsi

Other categories of Government publications i.e. Commission and Committee Reports as well as Performance Budget, Demand for Grants, Expenditure Budget, Annual Report of the Department of Culture are available in electronic form for the years 1990-91 to 1999-2000.

Foreign Official Documents Division (FODD) regularly acquires publications of international agencies such as United Nations, IMF, World Bank etc. It also receives official publications from the British Government, USA, Australia and certain other countries.
CSL has also published a compendium of Government of India reports on Library and Information Services.
